“He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’  This is the greatest and
first commandment.  And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your
neighbor as yourself.’”  Matthew 22:37-39

I came here in October, 2010, and
continue to marvel at the joy and
concern for the community
exhibited in this small
congregation. Please look through
the various pages of our website to
familiarize yourself with our
commitment to worship, safety for
our children, and outreach to the
community.
So good to have you read this short note!
I am the pastoral leader of this
Lutheran congregation situated in a
local neighborhood in Moreau, New
York (South Glens Falls area).
When I considered accepting the
call to Saint Andrew Lutheran
Church, the "shining star" was
their commitment that “All are
Welcome!” This church really
means it! After a period of
challenge, the congregation looked
to the future and committed to a
small but powerful expansion of
space.
The welcoming area at our church
entrance and the kitchen area
downstairs were expanded to
demonstrate that you are truly
welcome and invited to share in
fellowship.
Our primary focus is
worship of the Living God,
the Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit. Every Sunday and
at other times we gather
to worship, pray, partake
of the sacraments, and
welcome the stranger. Our
church is organized “in
the round,”
enhancing the intimacy of
the worship experience,
always reminding us that
we are a community. Once
here you are no longer a
stranger!”
I pray you will consider
joining us as we gather.  I
will admit, if you are willing,
we will help you find a place
to serve Him.  I am looking
forward to meeting you at
the front door (or the back if
you prefer)!
Music is a very important part of
our worship experience – we are
truly a “singing congregation!”
And we are very proud of our
church choir which regularly
sings the most beautiful and
challenging music to praise God
and edify our congregation.  We
are also blessed with a chime
choir and church musicians who
enthusiastically offer up solos and
instrumental performances to
glorify God!  Our church music
truly touches people’s souls!
Now you see why I am still
here and thanking God to be
part of the community of
believers at Saint Andrew
Lutheran Church!
Pastorally, this community is
a joy to work with!
Worship begins here and
extends from our grounds
(look at our Community
Garden page) and reaches out
to the local and world
community. We support and
serve various initiatives in our
community, the state, and the
world!
